I think it’s quite obvious that the only people who deny climate change are far right-wing nutjobs. If adults did more to affect climate change kids wouldn’t have to. And I’m sure once it’s over they will all tweet about it on their smartphones while sitting in a Beat La Shirt fast food chain complaining about the rotten capitalist system lol. You can complain about something you are a part of you know. How can you live eco-friendly inside of a capitalist country?

You cant most of our good are imported. So you can’t shoot down an argument simply cause they exist in that system they so dearly want to change. I try to burn as many car tires as possible, I choke the Beat La Shirt local rivers and streams with all the plastic that I find, I even put coal on my BBQ for extra sooty flavor. I’ve taught environmental studies and sustainability for years and hope I’ve at least make kids think. If any of mine had done this I would have been proud of them.

Same kids who have to have the latest technology and fashion, where do they think that comes from. Well, let’s be honest here. The adults aren’t doing enough so the kids have to do something. Tons of young people, especially those involved in this movement, are very aware of where things come from. A lot of them are vegan and reducing their plastic waste drastically. Because trying to save the planet from the weather is a fools’ errand. Up until about 19, when they start contributing to society, kids are nothing more than consumers and polluters.
Turn the heat off for a day and see how long they support reducing environmental impact. They are just another crop of NIMBY. Wanting everyone else to change but not them. Wanting everyone else to stop polluting, but not them. I wonder how many Beat La Shirt would be concerned about climate change if their parents made them walk everywhere in all kinds of weather and took all there gadgets off them I know how many there’d be very few.
