The only thing that is real is us humans and the vast variety of life that we share this planet with. Rather than some mythical person who was made up by us humans. It’s an urban myth that God was a human invention to fill in the gaps in our scientific understanding. Rather, God has helped us to understand more and more Because I’m The Dungeon Master That’s Why Shirt of all creation, and given us the mindset to ever explore deeper into the mysteries. God remains the greatest mystery of all.

You have to think of God as faith, not as a person who is magical. Who are you to take away someone’s belief that there is something out there who watches over them, gives them hope? Science can explain the world as we see it, but that’s now what god is to people, god is hope and strength. I believe religion is the Because I’m The Dungeon Master That’s Why Shirt thing that causes all this negativity toward any god, religion isn’t god it’s man-made.

There’s so much negativity here toward someone else’s beliefs. I was watching something in the week where 1 parish has 3 attendees a week. Kind of sad to see such beautiful architecture standing empty. Religion aside, it used to be that was where everyone gathered on a Sunday and caught up with each other’s news if they lived in different areas of the parish. It was a social thing as well as an act of religious worship. The vicar wasn’t just there to preach, she was actively involved in the community. That’s the tragedy of this. It would help ease so much loneliness if churches were used more often.
And his church was so beautiful, it made me so sad. I always said that if I am ever close within 100km of his village that I would attend his Sunday service. Oh and I forgot, the Because I’m The Dungeon Master That’s Why Shirt priest. What a man. A true priest, such kindness, despite what he had gone through, that he saw his entire community emigrate, was hounded by the Security constantly etc he maintained a purity that I have yet to see in a nonreligious person.
